Happy Tuesday all. I'm here with another Three Tune Tuesday. If you saw the title of this post, I'm sure you could've guessed the artist/band for this week. The three songs I'm sharing today will be from Lonestar. They are a country band from America that had one popular song from my childhood. I will be saving that song for last and I will share two new songs from them that I never heard before until today. I hope you enjoy the songs!
#1. If It Wasn't For You - Lonestar
I'm starting out with If It Wasn't For You. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of country songs but this one actually impressed me. For me, the lyrics of this song is very sweet and meaningful. The song is about a person encountering a partner / significant other that made a huge positive impact in their life. That person was able to achieve many things because of that partner. They were able to experience love and achieve their dreams as well.
#2. I'm Already There - Lonestar
I'm Already There gives the feels. I feel this song is very powerful and emotional. I'm saying this based on the lyrics. You can see from the video that there's soldiers coming back to see their family. Even at the end of the video, the video says that the song is to salute to the US armed forces. The lyrics are about people being away from their family and they could also possibly be dead. Although they are far away or passed away, they are still there with their loved ones in spirit. This can be based on the chorus and interperted from
I'm already there
Take a look around
I'm the sunshine in your hair
I'm the shadow on the ground
I'm the whisper in the wind
I'm your imaginary friend
And I know I'm in your prayers
#3. Amazed - Lonestar
This is the song from my childhood that let me know about this band. In fact, this song is their most popular song and was played a fair amount in the radio back then. This is one of many songs I liked growing up and I liked how it wasn't too country. This song seemed to be a mix of country and rock. It's a bit of a pity that they didn't create more songs like this. There is no deep meaning in this song. It's just about two people deeply in love with each other.
Thank You
If you made it to the end, thank you so much for reading and listening. What do you think of Lonestar? Are they too country for you or just right?
Please don't be afraid to share your three songs every Tuesday! Share the music share the love.
Credits
I do not own any of these songs and these are not my YouTube channels; it's just for fair use and sharing new music to everybody. All credit for these songs go to their singer🙏.
