I think it's high time we changed Tuesdays to be called Threetunetuesday rather than just Tuesdays, hehe.
Now let's get to my tunes of the week 😜
Song Name: Lonely at the Top
Song by : Asake
This great artist made his way to the music world in my country singing songs that aren't worth sharing as I believe the lyrics passes literally no meaning but I must admit they were really cool for partying anyway...
In recent times, we see the artist magically taking a "U turn" from his routine type of songs and dropping a banger of cool wonderful musics with mind blowing lyrics.
Lonely at the top was really a great music with great instrumental backup but of all things with an inspiring chorus.
The chorus tries to point out the uniqueness of all human beings and the need to seek for what exactly gives you joy because what gives you joy might not be what gives me joy, but then, you ought to do what gives you joy with all your heart.
It's a little difficult understanding the whole musics because of his usage of his mother tongue Yoruba, but then, it was great to listen to.
Song Name: It is what it is
Song by: Adekunle Gold
It's quite an old song but somehow made its way to my top tunes of the week... All thanks to shuffling, hehe.
The song focuses on the fact that people who has less or no relevance to your life, people whose your existence is a pain in the ass to always trying to make sure you meet your downfall.
They get to the public with bunch of lies about you but then when you're with them, they pretend to be your friend saying good things to your face... The hypocrites around us.
Once again, we saw a wonderful chorus where the artist is not concerned about what flies around about him but rather he is very much concerned about his PEACE OF MIND and won't entertain whatever it is that will disrupt his peace of mind.
That is indeed the way to live!
Because until when do we intend to live by the way that pleases people rather than what pleases us?
Song Name: Lovely
Song by: Billie Eilish and Khalid
A cool song... Well, what do you expect when two elites come together to bless our ears🤷
I can vividly remember how I discovered this song when it was played in a scene of the series The Legacies
Aside the calmness of the song, the chorus once again was an inspiring one... Never give up
That's the message it sends... Regardless of how long it takes.. all night, a hundred years.. keep going as long as you're keep breathing.
Your victory might just be near.
I wish to thank @ablaze for this wonderful initiative #TTT which allows us to share our best tunes and not only sharing ours but gives us the opportunity to add some great tunes to our music library by listening to others.
Thanks for listening, I appreciate 🙇
