Hello music lovers and Hello hivers!

Tuesday for me on Hive means three tune tuesday...

It's Tuesday and of course that means it's inspiration time!!

I have been slacking on Hive, maybe it was the lack of summer, I don't know but I have been struggle to post more than 2 posts a week. I am probably lucky to post twice a week.

One of those posts is usually my ttt or threetunetuesday post, but as I posted a story on Sunday, which you have not read, I will leave the link Detective Softly and The Nexus Pit of Deceit It was a bit of comedy with some Hivers as the characters. I mean I can only write faction afterall.

To stop the blabbering, I was not going to bother posting today as I spent quite some time crafting that story.

But a certain young lady had said she had not posted yet as she was waiting for my ttt post!

So @deraaa as you sound well down in the dumps at the moment I have included Visions in Blue as a Bonus song afterall ...

The whole vibe is me and it had me by the hook. For some reason I also got to enjoy his voice better. Pretty much kicked up but still chill enough for me to give it my own gloom 😂

So let's have some other Midge Ure songs!

Midges in Scotland are our version of mosquitos, they are more in the West and NorthWest but they are pesky wee gobshites to coin a phrase!

Today we are looking for midges well one in particular!

We get midges around here too, but I would almost prefer them over mosquitoes. At least they don't bite you!

Yeah, I lived in Ireland for 10 years, and the midges were brutal. But somehow only at certain times. As soon as it was around 10-ish (pm), they were gone. Sundown till then was horrible. Mosquitoes weren't as bad in Ireland as midges.

Oh a banger it is!!! A bit strong for me but I like it all the same because of the title. Reminds me of a certain someone I know… lmao! I know you know who

The last one is bit mellow for me and yeesh! I love it!!! You know how I like mellow and nostalgic thing. He don’t want her back? Awww that’s sad! But gosh! What a tune.

Oh Kay this is hard given that my favorite is here Visions In Blue. This will forever be a masterpiece to me. His voice and the words. It’s haunting and oh so beautiful.

But for this TTT, I’ll have to do with the “If I Was”. I love it and it’s my favorite for this week. Thank you for the songs Eddie.

Here too there are midges especially on the coast, Super Ed! And they can be a real nuisance hehe

I have never heard these songs before. The one I liked the most is the second one, Dancing with tears in my eyes. 🌀

Ohhh, I LOVED Midge Ure and Ultravox so much! 'If I was' is my all time favorite. I had the single, which had an awesome B side, I think it was called Piano. With, as you guessed it, just a piano playing. Sounded like a really good crime movie soundtrack to me. 'Dancing with tears in my Eyes' was a good second for me. I was a huge fan. As a teenager I decided that Midge was my future husband hahaha. So yeah, this bring me back. He wasn't the only one by the way. LOL.

Thanks for sharing this and bringing me back.
