Here we are again. It's already New Year's Eve and this year has just sailed on by me! The one thing I have learned in life is to enjoy it day by day. Take time to enjoy good things in life and not stress out too much about the others. In the end it all works out one way or another.
First off I want to say thanks to @ablaze for starting and continuing to support Three Tune Tuesday as a fun weekly event. We appreciate all your hard work!
This week Tuesday falls on New Year's Eve which gave me plenty of options for a Three Tune Tuesday. I could talk about songs from this past year, but that's way too easy. Or I could go with some really old stuff, which has endless possibilities. I toyed with that idea for awhile this morning and moved on to New Year's themed songs, but discarded the idea as well.
Then I decided to throw up a couple fun party songs because it is New Year's Eve, so that's what I'm going with today. The fist couple will be some heavy metal songs about drinking, then something more introspective at the end.
Let's see how it goes!
Guns N' Roses

I think the only heavy metal band that were more into alcohol and drug use than these guys was Mötley Crüe. Guns N' Roses are a Los Angeles band and were legendary party animals in their prime. Alcohol and drug abuse destroyed this epic band. That's probably why they came up with this particular song: "Night Train"
Judas Priest

This British band had a string of hit songs though out the 1980's and into the 1990's. Like most bands they had their substance abuse problems and were some serious party animals. And to fit the holiday for tonight, this is: "Living After Midnight".
Foo Fighters

I decided to throw in one more introspective tune in the mix, and one that even mentions next year. The Foo Fighters formed in Seattle in 1994 and moved on to rock n' roll greatness. I decided to throw in a song I hadn't heard for a very long time from their third album in 1999 called "There Is Nothing To Lose". This song is "Next Year"
That will finish up this #threetunetuesday . If you don't already participate consider joining in on the fun and share a few of your favorite tunes. Each week one random participant wins some HSBI units, and you can never have too many of those! Just use the tag #ttt or #threetunetuesday and it's never a bad idea to do a shoutout to @ablaze just in case.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and listen to my picks this week. I hope you enjoy some or all of them! Please feel free to leave any questions or comments below. Thank you everyone for all of your support, it really is greatly appreciated. Hive is wonderful place thanks to all of you!
Happy New Year!
