Starting an introduction paragraph can be challenge for me at times. Today is one of those days. It got me thinking back to a movie where the protagonist is a writer and can't come up with his first sentence for his novel. He gets stuck with: The night was... hot? humid? but can't find the right word. Until his friend's mother spits out the word sultry while riding on a train. First person to name the movie gets one HSBI unit! A contest is as good an opener as anything I suppose...

This week I was thinking of putting together a nice themed post, I even had a few ideas. But when today arrived I just wasn't in the mood for the music I had in mind. So instead I decided to just share some fun rock n' roll songs, plus I've always been a fan of hard rock and heavy metal. Today it definitely fits the mood. And the header definitely gave a hint of what was to follow! I suppose the flaming guitar could have been for Jimi Hendrix, but I'll save that for another day...
So let's dive right on into the fun for today! All of these will have been from live performances, they're always a lot fun!

Too be completely honest they weren't intended as part of today's fun, but after listening to @geneeverett 's post for Three Tune Tuesday I decided to throw this fun one in as well. I've shared it before, but it's the Foo Fighters, they're always fun to listen to!
These guys came together as a band in Seattle, Washington in 1993. Since then they have become rock legends that always put on amazing shows. If you haven't done a deep dive into their music it's well worth the trip! Here's "All My Life":

This Australian band is one of my favorites, and they've been writing and performing for more than 50 years. The funny thing is they still put on an amazing show despite being somewhat up there in years and mileage. There are just so many songs to choose from, but this is one of my favorites, "Highway to Hell":

This Danish band formed in 2001 and have been producing some great music ever since. I think the first song I ever heard of theirs was "Lola Montez" which I've shared before. It's worth checking out if you haven't heard it. Another great band to do a deep dive, they have put out some amazing music over the years. This song came off of their 2016 album "Seal the Deal & Let's Boogie" and is called "For Evigt" (Forever):
