They were hard months since I am an apprentice in these arrangements and my tutor helped me a lot to reach the final product, I decided to preserve a bit of the original structure of the song, keeping the piano, drums and bass, I added a saxophone against alto, a clarinet, and some flutes from the recorder family, such as the sopranino recorder, the soprano, the contra alto and finally the tenor, each voice does something different, from the main melody to the saxophone and clarinet which are the basis of the winds and the stabilizers with respect to the different timbres of each instrument, both winds and bass, piano and drums.
Fueron meses duros ya que soy aprendiz en estos de los arreglos y mi tutora me ayudó mucho a llegar al producto final, decidí conservar un poco de la estructura original del tema, conservando el piano, la bateria y el bajo, le agregué un saxofón contra alto, un clarinete, y algunas flautas de la familia de flautas dulces, como lo es la flauta dulce sopranino, la soprano, la contra alto y por último la tenor, cada voz hace algo distinto, desde la melodia principal hasta el saxofón y clarinete que son la base de los vientos y los estabilizadores con respeto a los diferentes timbres de cada instrumento, tanto de vientos como el bajo, piano y bateria
I didn't think that my crazy idea would bear fruit but if it could, with this arrangement I wanted to show the versatility of the recorder with respect to the genres it can interpret and that it can be surrounded by other instruments with different timbres and still sound good. , not only from the woodwind family but from others such as plucked strings and percussion. I chose exactly this piece because Gravity Falls marked my childhood and that of my classmates, the result so far is quite pleasant, it was difficult at the beginning I had to change instruments about 3 times, see that everything fit well, not having fifths or octaves parallels, looking for musicians about 5 times, because the ones I found had many occupations or simply did not commit themselves, looking for a space to rehearse in a high school that is always full and stopped counting against times 😅
No pensé que mi loca idea, diera frutos pero si se pudo, con este arreglo quise mostrar la versatilidad de la flauta dulce con respecto a los géneros que puede interpretar y de que puede estar rodeada de otros instrumentos con diferentes timbres y aún así sonar bien, no solo de la familia de vientos madera si no de otros como las cuerdas pulsadas y la percusión. Escogí exactamente esta pieza porque Gravity Falls marco mi infancias y la de mis compañeros, el resultado hasta ahora es bastante grato, fue difícil al principios tuve que hacer cambios de instrumentos como 3 veces, ver qué todo encajara bien, no tener ni quintas ni octavas paralelas, buscar como 5 veces músicos, porque los que encontraba tenían muchas ocupaciones o simplemente no se comprometen, buscar un espacio para ensayar en un liceo que siempre esta full y pare de contar contra tiempos 😅
