Introducing Anfisa Letyago
Awesome sounds by this young lady, born-Russian (or better Siberia) now (since over 15 years) conquering the global Techno scene from Italy (Naples / Napoli) - love her clear distinction to separate music from politics.
Being from Russia pretty sure hard times for people with Russian roots and she is doing (in my POV) a good job to split this and focus on her music. It is kind of comparable to all these pseudo political statements that were forced by several teams during the Football World Cup in Quatar (as a German I know what I am talking about, distraction for sports guys that should have been the job by the local association, but different topic).
Anfisa is worried though of the situation of war and has good intention but she separates this from her job - kjust saying.
Back to Anfisa - I truely love her sound and consider it more as Acid Techno but as some of you know I am not a fan of segementing all styles into certain genres - as long as you like it all good.
So I really like it - not every DJ I introduced during the last 6 years on our chain was hitting my personal taste, Anfisa does though. What is obvious a kind of influence by Carl Cox - if interested read more about her in the following biog details: https://ra.co/dj/anfisaletyago/biography
Anfisa came to Italy in her teen years and is playing as DJ since over 10 years, booked around the world on big and smaller locations, now also producing studio stuff - an interesting mix auf Siberian / Russian and Italian sounds - but more important to me, her DJ sets really hit me, love it - even after 6 hours of listening I want more, can not stop to move my working body parts :-).
