Uno de los proyectos musicales venezolanos recientes, con mayor éxito, es sin duda alguna, Free Cover. La idea surgió originalmente en Maracaibo, en 2017, como un proyecto local. Aprovecharon que tenía las herramientas para grabar audio y video en vivo e hicieron un primer intento que resultó todo un éxito.

One of the most successful recent Venezuelan musical projects is undoubtedly Free Cover. The idea originally came up in Maracaibo, in 2017, as a local project. They took advantage of having the tools to record live audio and video and made a first attempt that turned out to be a success.

Daniel Bracho y Alejandro Barrera, ambos músicos de amplia experiencia, quisieron tener un grupo base de músicos de primera línea para interpretar versiones de canciones hubieran sido superéxitos, contando con la participación de cantantes invitados estelares.
De esa manera se grabaron las primeras siete ediciones, las cuales no fueron pensadas (inicialmente para las redes, sino más bien como una cuestión de práctica y gusto), pero pronto el proyecto se empezó a dar a conocer y el episodio que contó con la participación del cantante Juan Miguel, les dio la proyección y el impulso que faltaba.
Al año siguiente, en 2018, se trasladaron a Miami, donde ya el proyecto era bien conocido. Allí consiguieron el apoyo de músicos venezolanos y latinos para seguir adelante con la idea y allí vino el éxito masivo.
Daniel Bracho and Alejandro Barrera, both experienced musicians, wanted to have a core group of top musicians to perform versions of songs that would have been super hits, with the participation of stellar guest singers.
In this way, the first seven editions were recorded, which were not intended (initially for networks, but rather as a matter of practice and taste), but soon the project began to be known and the episode that featured the participation of the singer Juan Miguel, gave them the projection and momentum that was missing.
The following year, in 2018, they moved to Miami, where the project was already well known. There they got the support of Venezuelan and Latin musicians to go ahead with the idea and there came the massive success.
El primer video que arrasó en popularidad fue donde contaron con Ronald Borjas como invitado. Pero de allí en adelante la popularidad no paró de crecer y el catálogo de sesiones es hoy en día interminable.
Además de las participaciones artistas venezolanos, también artistas de otras nacionalidades han encontrado en Free Cover una ventana para su música.
The first video that swept in popularity was where they had Ronald Borjas as a guest. But from then on the popularity did not stop growing and the catalog of sessions is nowadays endless.
