The worldly ones are obsessed with the things in the world. Wealth, reputation, relationships etc. Anything that enhances these, we view them as useful and of value.
But that is actually delusional thinking. Like the Diamond Sutra states, these are like bubbles and illusions.
The calling of the Buddha Amithaba, is from a space that is of the enlightened mind. Totally different in nature. That’s also why the worldly people doesn’t appreciate it. It is perceived as useless compared to things that can enhance our worldly life.
But someday the mind would turn to the blessings of the Buddha Amithaba. And would see the ‘value’ of reciting the Buddha’s name, Amitufo.
Not the same meaning of value.
