Have you ever sat down to think about the things you've done and the outcome that follows suit? You know that thing or something you just believed you can do, had a conversation with your creator, and watched it happen. That's faith. Even when you know it may sound ridiculous, you didn't let that thought overthrow the deep one in your soul because you truly believe there's a way.
Certain things have occurred in my life at the spiritual level, and that is because of my religious practices. I believe in peace because my religion doesn't just preach it, but it is peaceful. The Almighty, the maker of all things, made everything beautiful. Some things like nature. Just walking around parks, strolling through the neighborhood at times, the air that fills my lungs takes all my worries away. It is like at that moment just listening to the chirping of birds in the sky with the greenery that surrounds me is enough to make my day. They satisfy me spiritually and emotionally and relieve the ache I feel physically.
My spiritual life made it easy to embrace minimalism without even having a second thought about it. I know I am blessed to be able to see these things that may seem little to some others and appreciate them. How something natural can just bring a sense of gratitude in me because I know from whom they come from. I know who created those things that give me pleasure. Those simple things make me want to wake up each morning because of the love they filled my heart and mind with.
My outlook on deeper things are tied to my minimalistic lifestyle because they've been right by my side since I was little. As I grew up, I got to know myself without anyone telling me how those simple things have saved me. The natural creation by God and the knowledge he has given to men. How powerful God's words are and how just reading those words has sparked something warm in me, my spiritual self, and how that has made me believe. How it has made me appreciate little things. Made me see not just the gift, but something deeper(like the person's thought) on why it is given to me.
Just like waking up each day. It is a present that is made to be appreciated each time we wake up to see a new day. Firstly, I appreciate my creator for the beauty he has bestowed on me, and appreciating Him means connecting with Him on a spiritual level. The things that are seen are the things that surround me. A roof over my head, being able to stand upright and begin the day's work. Being able to breathe in fresh air, good health, communicate with my loved ones and be able to work and find a way to provide for the day.
Give thanks to Allah
These things aren't little to me. They are significant things that make my day. Yes, they are simple but fulfilling. They are made for me. A present worth appreciating every day.
That's why I can't go a day without thanking Him with songs that fill my heart each day because He lives in me, and with Him, I have found peace. Here's a song I can barely go a day without listening to titled; "The Blessing."

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
