This title motive has given me a new purpose and perspective on life. Look, I know, like me, you all also have some stress to deal with in your life.
This week’s KISS blogging idea is one of the things that I have been dealing with for quite a long time. Let me paint a picture for you, fellas: stress is directly linked to your cortisol hormone levels. And for your brain to function properly, it needs an adequate amount of cortisol. So, it's important to not sweat the small stuff too much and strike a balance since avoiding total stress in your life can haunt you in specific ways.
There was a time when I had this sensitive trait in my personality, when I used to get really emotional, overthinking about small things, and pondering over matters that were practically impossible in my life or career. I would get caught up in things that had no relevance to my future, but you know what they say, better late than never. Through the ups and downs of life and the moments that have passed, I've learned two things: stressing about work-related matters can help you improve your life, but taking unnecessary stress can mess up your mental state.
Look, my dear minimalist friends; there are eventually two types of stress in everyone’s life: good and bad. They can be work-related stress, academic stress, personal life, and family-related stress. All those problems and chaos arise when you start considering things beyond your intellectual capacity. When you overthink problems, you become stressed and even start hesitating about things that have nothing to do with your life, kind of unnecessary stuff.
For example, you start wondering about the future like where you'll be in five or ten years, but that is a pointless debate. It’s simply not in your or my control. Whatever will happen, will happen according to God’s will, so rely on Him, and I'm sure He must have written a destiny far better than you can even imagine.
According to my perspective, stress always helps you get to your destination. It can make you a goal-oriented person. It can get your to-do list done and your assignments completed. Stress has always been a kind of motivation for me; it enhances my performance, and for you people, it can reveal and unlock new heights of your potential. And as soon as you start focusing on fewer problems in your life, which actually lead to your goals, you automatically shift towards a fancy, bitter routine overflowed with worthless chaos to a minimalist lifestyle.
