What a difference a day can make. Just on Saturday, we had almost 30 degrees Celsius at noon, and now we’re barely reaching 17. And on top of that, it’s windy as hell. It’s so windy that none of the guys running boat cruises here even showed up for work today.
The truth is, the tourist season is nearing its end, but if we had better weather, there would still be a few tourists around. However, as soon as the tourists leave, the town returns to its usual autumnal quiet and stillness.
I took my walk today around 2 PM, and the alley was so deserted you could barely spot a person or two here and there. As the temperatures keep dropping, it’s only going to get worse. But honestly, that’s what I came for.
I've lived in some pretty crowded places over the years, and one of the reasons I came back home for good was the peace and calm this shitty little town provides, with the Danube nearby and the hills "guarding us" from the worst of the winds.
The rainy season is upon us once again. Starting next week, it looks like we’ll have rain every day. I don’t mind it too much, but I just hope we don’t see this kind of weather near Christmas. I've had enough of winters full of rain...
But as we move closer to the end of the year, we’re also inching toward a new ATH for BTC, and most likely, an altcoin season that I’ll happily welcome. In the meantime, we’re just going with the wind...
