We've had plenty of rain in my part of the world over the past few days. It’s not typical for winter, but it’s not the first year this has happened either. The weather forecast I checked about a week ago predicted no rain for a long time, but clearly, it was wrong.
Some areas of the country have been getting plenty of snow lately, based on YouTube videos from dudes I follow who live up North. If temperatures were just a bit lower here, we’d have had snow as well.
As you can see from some of the peaks I photographed at higher altitudes, there’s been a little snow. It would’ve been great to have a proper 4x4 and go explore those areas. A couple of friends with 4x4s invited me yesterday for such an adventure, but I passed—it was raining, and I just wasn’t in the mood.
My issue with rain is that it keeps me from having my daily walks, which is frustrating. But what can you do? On the bright side, I was amazed to see how many ducks, swans, and coots were gathered near the water by the supermarket.
They were all there for a reason: free meals. Plenty of people buy bread from the supermarket and feed them, which is nice to see. Swans, in particular, are a rare sight, and I’m happy to see them there.
Maybe by the end of the year, we’ll get some snow too. If not, I suppose I’ll have to head to the mountains to experience it.
That’s all from me for now. Wishing you all a great day, and I’ll see you next time!
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
