Long time no see. As you have noticed I’ve been away for a little. I was busy with the end of the school year with kids. Helping them to prepare for the final tests and doing a lot of art lessons and YouTube shorts.
Well today’s post is for #MarketFriday by @dswigle. So I’d like to share my recent photos from our travel to Dubai, UAE. I love atriums, so here is one from this one of the largest mall in the world.
At over 12 million square feet, which is equivalent in size to more than 50 soccer fields, the Dubai Mall is the largest shopping mall in the world based on total area.
In general I was impressed by the high quality of service, cleanliness, and safety of this beautiful place.
These photos are from our walk in one of the biggest malls in Dubai.
First we stopped at Lego store. At the entrance they had a gigantic model of Burj Khalifa building. I can’t imagine how long would it take to build such a big lego building, hope it t was a team of people.
Next I liked the Pac-Man game model. It actually one of my kids’ favorite games.
This is just a picture stand you can see my daughter’s hat stuck there.
We stopped by Turkish sweets place, kids got to try some samples. My they liked raspberry flavored honey a lot.
After awhile we got tired of walking, so we decided to get some pizza, drinks, and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I was going to buy just for kids, but when the seller said third is for free, I thought well why not? A little treat with a good deal makes me twice happier on Friday Market;-) So I chose New York Cheesecake flavor, the one on the right side. I didn’t know what to expect but it was actually good with some sweet cream inside.
What I want to say, basically you can find in this mall everything you need, and pretty much most of the fast foods chains here are just like in the US. So no need to worry about something you’d be afraid to try if you’re allergic to something.
