Macrophotographs of the "May Bug"

in #hive-1949136 months ago

Hello, my friends, photography lovers!

Hot days have come on the street, the bright summer sun is constantly shining.
The month of May is coming to an end, but the bright representatives of this time of year are still flying between the leaves of the trees.
These are the so-called "May bugs".

I have already shared my photos of one of the representatives of this insect order. At the very beginning of the month, he settled down for the night on my balcony. He was practically asleep, but he was still able to figure out where he was and who he was.

Now the season of these insects is coming to an end. They have already done everything they need to continue their kind.
I found this half-dead "May bug" in the garden. He was barely moving one paw, and the ubiquitous ants were already approaching him.

I managed to keep the ants away for a while. The lighting of the beetle was excellent, he was in no hurry himself, so I could safely take a series of macro photographs.

The pictures clearly show the external structure of this insect. Everyone knew. You can see how complicated its structure is. The small white hairs that cover its paws and belly are very attractive.

The wide antennae made with a spatula are clearly visible. The bright brown-red color of the wings.

Looking at this work of nature, you can't stop being amazed at her skill!

It's the first time I've seen an insect like this and gray and red in color

And we watch it every May))
