Today I will show our family's trip to the open-air menagerie. We have a very interesting place in the city. There is no development here, there is a piece of real forest here. And the city menagerie has been located in this place for many years. Even more likely it could be called an animal farm. The animals live in large enclosures. At the entrance, you can buy a cup of vegetables and feed one of the pets.
And there are a lot of pets here. And their composition is very diverse. For example, there are reptiles. That's such a handsome python!
And I find it difficult to identify exactly who it is. But much bigger than a lizard. Maybe some kind of monitor lizard?
And here is a family of raccoons. They are hiding away from the crowd of people. But if you wait until there is no one left in front of the aviary, then the raccoons get bolder and start chasing each other. That's how they play. It's very interesting to watch. There is a warning on the enclosure so that visitors do not stick their fingers inside, because after all, the animal can bite.
And this animal looks very much like a hippo. But only reduced by 50 times. This is skinny dumbo or the "dwarf behemoth". It's actually a guinea pig. It looks very nice. I want to pick him up, but I can't do that.
It is quite unexpected to meet a real kangaroo in our area. But this is also some kind of small variety of this animal. But our children were just delighted.
The size of this kangaroo is about the size of an average dog. We tried to feed them. Yes, the animals came up and ate from our children's hands.
We are happy to go to this place every year.
