Two Options for a night City

Hello, my dear friends!

I am glad that you are doing well and that you continue to actively cooperate with this wonderful community of photo lovers. After all, this is a great pastime that develops your powers of observation and allows your creativity to be realized.

Today I want to talk about night photography. Or rather, about the colors and shades of the night. I recently took some pictures of the city at night. I was attracted by the colorful windows.

What you won't see in the night windows. It would seem that they should be white. But this is not the case. There are yellow, red, and blue ones. It is difficult to imagine what is the light source inside these apartments))

What if we reduce the saturation to a minimum and get a monochrome shot? The picture changes immediately. The variegation goes away and only a strict laconic contrast remains. Maybe this is how the night should look like?

Strict and silent, without unnecessary frills and variegation. Urban lighting makes the night an endless celebration, a festival.

I don't even know which version of the night city I like more: color or black and white.

The color allows you to observe a faint dark purple glow of the city sky, but monochrome no longer gives this glow.

And what do you friends think about the two lighting options? Which windows do you like more: monochrome or black and white? What should a city night be like?

The black and white city looks sad))

Yes, it is possible. Thanks for the comment!
