Otammari, or Tammari, is a sub-saharan ethnic group living in Benin (West Africa).
They are farmers and also have livestock.
Their houses are usually built with clay. At the ground livestock sleep during night, and the upper floor is used as granaries, to dry wheat.
Around village many wheat and corn fields.
There are many things to say about their religion (animist) e lifestyle, but in this post I will focus on the girl with orange foulard, because of her expression has caught me. She is young but also so serious...
And i'm asking about her thoughts.
She never smiled at us.
She had a special look, like a wild and free animal.
Africa is still a mistery for me, but one thing I know: here you feel an unique call to life.
