Picnic in the bog on a moody autumn day.
So autumn is in full mood and one morning we decided to go on a little swamp trip with my friend and her little pup Waffle. We went to Viru bog, because of its easy accessibility from Tallinn, this is one of the most popular and accessible bogs in Estonia where you can hike and enjoy peace, of course if it's not overcrowded. At the moment, fortunately, not many people go there especially during the week, but on weekends there are still many people enjoying the fresh air.
One direction of the hiking trail is 3.5km and the entire circuit is 6km in total. In the middle of the trail is observation tower where we prepared our picnic. 😊
Lately, the days have been very rainy and dark, in such weather, this energy disappears somewhere and feels so tired all the time. I can't wait for the first snow to fall, there is nothing more exciting in the near future than a winter hike in the fresh snow and specialists say that it will be a very cold and snowy winter in Estonia this year. Let's hope that this prediction will at least come true. 🎅
Here is a small selection of photos from this moody bog trip, enjoy! 😉
