Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to edit some older photos and turn them into some black and white versions!
Monochrome Monday River Blend
I seem to be one that takes too many pictures lol. At least that's what I have thought a little bit recently..
I was looking around for some pictures to convert into black and white for Monochrome Monday recently, since I haven't been outside much for various reasons but it ended up taking me a little while to find some that I wanted to post! I was scrolling through quite a few photos... thinking that maybe perhaps I could take too many of them hahaha.
One thing that's good at least, I can make a bit of a theme out of them though!
The little man is a huge fan of any moving body of water, especially anything like a river, brook, stream or whatever other terms that one can come up with to describe them. This means that we are very often stopping to give it a look and he wants to walk around in them and look for various things of wildlife, usually fish and crawdads.
The river above was one where we were at the White Mountains in New Hampshire at some point last year and it's a beautiful spot to get some nice photos of, since there are quite a few rivers flowing around coming down from the big mountains like Mount Washington. That means quite a bit of flowing water, which is right up the little man's alley!
We also have gone on quite a few hikes where we got out there and found some bubbling brooks like this one, though this one is largely just ice melt coming down the trail but it did form a little river! We were walking in this one for quite a while, thankfully we had the right footgear though because when the little man steps in the water, we learned that he doesn't do well with small boots and needs the ones that come up to pretty much his knee.
I really like the up-close perspective I got with this one here, it was something I didn't really think would come out too well but it turned out pretty darn cool!
I wonder what other photos I can dig up in the vast library that's taking up quite a bit more space on my computer than I thought it was. I thankfully did delete about 50 pictures or so, not making a huge dent in the storage capacity but it did do something at least!
