I went to visit the Musée des Confluences, Museum in Lyon, France, The Musée des Confluences is a science centre and anthropology museum which was opened on 20 December 2014, in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon, France. It was really awesome and amazing to visit a museum for the very first time. The price for the same are: Full price €12. Concession €7. Free for under 18s and Universal Credit beneficiaries. The Architecture firm is :Coop Himmelb(l)au and the Architect is: Wolf D. Prix. Its location was 86 Quai Perrache, 69002 Lyon, France.
The subsection of science centre and anthropology museum or the Museum of science and anthropology, In May 2011, the Musée des Confluences museum, while still under erection, received the nomination “Musée de France” from the Ministry of Culture and Communication. It is located at the southern tip of the Presqu'île which is the central part of the City of Lyon,adjacent to Autoroute A7, and comprises part of a larger redevelopment project of the Confluence quarter of Lyon.
At the entrance found this huge board, various types of Skeleton printed over it, to my first sight, i was shocked but later on when went to explore the museum understood everything. The printed skeleton was just about an idea like what would you be seeing later in the museum.
This museum had a variety of skeleton statues of the animals in the ancient time, like after visiting it i heard about some of them for the very first time, some of the old variety includes "A Mammoth" which is a type of an extinct species of elephantid genus, Mammuthus. They lived from the late Miocene epoch into the Holocene about 4,000 years.
This was the view of the external buliding which was really very huge and big, i mean a lot of construction and efforts were required to make such beautiful museum. This museum is pretty impressive. The construction is absolutely well outside and inside, it catches the eye even if you don't like those scary skeletons.
Here were some more structures of the animals like i could see "The Tasmanian tiger, or thylacine" and an egg it seems to be the egg of a dinasaur and the last one was again a skeleton.
I was really shocked after visiting this museum as seeing something for the very first time was strange for me, there was a skeleton of "Camarasaurus lentus", heard this name for the very first time, it was a species of sauropod (long-necked) dinosaur that lived in northeastern Utah during the Late Jurassic Period which was alive about 150 million years ago. This specie of dinasaur were really very big with a height between 50-65 feet (15-20 meters) long, 15-25 feet (4.5-7.5 meters) tall, and may have weighed up to 20 tons (18,143 kilograms).
We actually had a lot of big animals living on Earth, but these were really very huge and how about their skeleton which looks scary.
Moving on forward again there was a huge skeleton of the animal deer. This was alike to big, huge and so scary. But presented well.
Here were some more skeletons and structures which were very difficult to recognise but were looked very realistic, they were presented so well that the first impression was worth it.
How about this skeleton, this was a human skeleton which just gave an impression of a dead and a scary and horrible body. Alot of broken skeleton were scattered around it, it was looking really very horrible.
It was really worth to visit a museum for the very first time and seeing the skeleton of the animals which were present a million years ago. This kind of researches and structures are really very impressive to present the idea about the ancient time. Like a common man would not be really knowing about such acknowledgement or researchers.
I just got really impressed after visiting here and i thought of giving the idea to the administration of our study team to take us to a similar museum for research to help us in our studies. Though this time was a bit enjoyment but i really like to visit this museum and seek a lot of knowledge about our history and such museums are the perfect example.
