Crystal Clear

Hello photography lovers. It's great to post here again. Today I bring some wonderful shots taken while on a little walk away from my residence.

Some days back as I passed through a certain area around the region where I live, I came across this water body; you can call it a mini dam, kind of. I was drawn to this large body of water that seemed stagnant even though it was flowing somewhere. That I couldn't trace. I was captivated by the wonderful and beautiful sight of nature that I deemed it fit to capture it.

Few days back I walked my back through that same route and area it was located and decided to put it to the work of a camera. I took some far and close shots. Most were close ones because of the details I was trying to capture and also for the ideas behind some of the shots.


I noticed the gentle tides that kept rolling along the water body. It was wonderful to see the water move in such a manner, though it was low and gentle. The low tides kept rolling from one end to the other, mostly bringing nothing along as opposed to some water bodies. This because it was a small one; a mini dam kind of as earlier said, and it was clean also. I suspect the water is being cared for, as some persons were found drawing from it through pipes for some purposes.


After capturing some images, I decided to make some more interesting ones. So then, picking some dried leaves, I threw them at the edge of the water and let them float while I took some good shots, I close range.





I also went ahead to pluck some nice flowers around the bank and throw them as well around the edge. These like the leaves gave fascinating shots. One attractive thing from these shots was the shadow casted underneath the clear water above.
