Dear Hive photography community, today I have the pleasure of sharing with all of you a series of new editorial portrait photographs that I took with my friend and partner, Sandra. Sandra is a creative and intelligent woman, and these photos were planned by her for commercial purposes and as part of her birthday gift
Our goal was to achieve an editorial aesthetic with an urban style, without excessive complications but with small details that would give each shot its own personality. While I would have preferred more vibrant colors, the selected tones turned out to be great. Moreover, the location we chose for the session was simply perfect: beautiful and representative of our city
Due to the lack of natural light, I was forced to push the ISO of my camera a bit higher, to over 1000. Although light was scarce and we were running late, we managed to overcome the technical challenges and capture impactful images. For these photos, I used my faithful companion, the Nikon D5100, along with a 50mm analog lens with an aperture of 1.8f.
I can confidently assure you that this experience was extremely enjoyable, especially because we decided to conduct the session in a busy location. People watched us as they passed by, adding an additional level of excitement to the experience. These photographs now form part of my portfolio, a testament to my journey towards becoming a professional photographer and a valuable life experience that I will always cherish.
