Yesterday I set myself a dynamic while walking down one of the little busy streets in the neighborhood.... I had to take some pictures of whatever I am seeing or happening at that moment, I was lucky enough to have the golden light of the sunset and the 85mm lens at my disposal, that is without a doubt a perfect combination for street photography. There is a huge difference between taking pictures with neutral light and with golden light, the latter makes it really special.
We wait for that light to hit our subject and object to be portrayed and violà we have something unique and visually captivating, film-like.
Lately I've been trying some backlit shots at this time of the afternoon and I love the results. I think what is also interesting is that it was a very normal street, not large avenues, not touristy.
This is a broader view of the street where I walked, you can see the light, the urban landscape and that semi tunnel of trees.
If you see a parked bicycle it's just that, but if you look at it from a camera with this lens at f2.8 it's something else.
But... How much can you photograph in a short distance of 100 meters? Believe me, too many things, you just have to pay attention to what we usually miss because it's nothing important to us at that moment. The art of capturing the most common, the most normal thing possible and making it look like something too interesting is something I still practice.
Although this is not the case since I dedicate myself to the street, cars and to portray some people in composition with the light and the surroundings.
Another person walking along this narrow street, a shop sign and wooden structures indicating road repair areas.
Another car traveling down the street, a combination of shadow and golden light that hugs almost the entire street.

Now that I look at the photos more calmly and in detail, I have taken those photos with unusual angles, not all but most of them. I also didn't have much time on my hands and wanted this to be something a little different than what I usually do.
Honestly, I like much more how the asphalt turns golden from the light, even much more than the landscape.
One more day of street photography and once again at the right time, with beautiful light. I hope to continue having the time and luck to take advantage of these scenarios to make the shots as interesting as possible.
I hope you enjoyed these 13 photos and also that you had a nice day :)
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
