I want to show you the lovely color pattern that this cotton-stain bug has, and this is a juvenile one as it has not yet developed hardened wings.
I found it in a small bushy plant during my short Photowalk sometime ago behind my house. I have seen and already made a post about this species, but they always have something new to offer on a different occasions, which is why I took the photos and decided to share them here with all of you.
I also edit them in a kind of moody editing, just to make the orange color of the bug pop up a little bit, contrasting with a darker background, and a deeper color of the leaf.
It was also not so skittish and that the reason I manage to take a few photos of this little guy here in the same branch. It stay still until I bumped my diffuser and then causing it to flee.
And here is the adult bonus for today's post. This is the adult version of the cotton-stain bug, with the wings already develop nicely.
