Sublimesunday Sunday; From the Gardens

in #hive-1949133 years ago

Good day everyone. I went sightseeing sometime ago and I came across a lovely garden. The flowers in the gardens were so adorable. Their petals were brightly colored and their fragrance, divine.

I took some pictures. I'd be presenting coloured and monochrome copies .

The first is the marigold yellow. Botanical name is Targetes erecta. It is native to the Americans but often called African marigold. I was reading a book yesterday and the author talked about yellow marigold flowers. I assumed I didn't know what they looked like when on the contrary they were staring right in my face.

Marigold yellow can be used for digestive tract problems including poor appetite, gas, stomach pains, colic, intestinal worms and of course they could also be used for beautification.

The next one that caught my attention was Ixora chinensis also known as Chinese Ixora. It is native to china and karts of South-east Asia.

It is lovely in drinks. It tastes like spinach with a touch of bitters. Reference has been given to 'saffron', one of the world's costliest spices gotten from flowers. Saffron can also be made into a drink.

Chinese Ixora can be used to rest skin irritation, ulcer, flu, aid digestion and also for beautification.

The third and the last for today is another specie of Targetes erecta. It's the orange marigold. This specie is native to Mexico and Guatemala with several neutralized species in many other countries.

Thanks for stopping by. What do you think about the flowers?

Hello @elitography
Can you do us a favor and remove the monomad tag from this publication?
Please read our rules and try not to use it when you clearly have no intention to participate in the challenge 🙂

I'm sorry to upset you.

Can you then please remove the tag so we don't have a full color image in out feed? 🙂
