Way Of Life

in #hive-1949133 years ago

Saturday was my day of relaxation as I needed it. Last week was a tough one and wanted to relax a bit and enjoy the sun. It was cold, the wind was blowing (wind is unusual here), but it was still sunshine, which is very important to me.

It's spring already, officially as well, but it's still cold, so trees have no leaves yet, not even buds.

This is the time when I like to look up to the sky, especially if the sun is shining and take photos. The blue sky and the naked branches growing all direction is a good theme to photograph.

When I saw in what position the sun was, I thought why not capture it and make it look like it is sitting on the branch. It wasn't easy as the light was blinding me most of the time, but after several shots, I was able to capture a few good ones.

Usually I don't let myself to be emotional easily, but last week we lost two people, one was close to me, the other was not. One was a good person, the other was quite evil. Yeah, it sounds horrible, but that's the truth.

20220326_121444a.jpg

After someone finishes their existence on this planet, those close to them usually tend to think of the person's life, how they lived, what have been their challenges and achievements.

20220326_121509a.jpg

While I was thinking of these things and looking at these old trees, I was thinking that these trees have the same way of life as humans. They have challenges and achievements during their lifetime, it's just that not many people care.

During summer, when these trees are full of beautiful green leaves, branches are not always visible and besides, the eye may only see the green leaves, or the beauty of the flowers if they have any.

20220326_121513a.jpg

Just as we, humans have a lot of challenges and obstacles in life, these trees have similar challenges and obstacles in their own life. These trees you see on the photos may be older than any person on the planet. In those over 100 years of their existance, they must have suffered from cold, sicknesses and also man made woulds as we know humans are always shaping trees as they please, to serve their purposes.

20220326_121520a.jpg

If you try to draw these trees on paper, the result could look like a road, sometimes with a lot of side roads and curves. This is how life looks like for everyone. No one has had a straight road ahead of them. There are road blocks, obstacles, difficulties in every life, without exceptions. Even the most successful ones can face a lot of difficulties, we just don't see it, or tend to ignore it.

20220326_121544a.jpg

The funny thing is that people cut down trees in the city as there's no space for them anymore. Then people rush out of the city every weekend or when they have the chance, to enjoy nature as fresh air and nature has healing power.

This park has become my medicine, my therapy. Even if I'm feeling alright, I go for a walk and think about the ongoing things in my life. Fill my lungs with fresh air and try to prepare myself for the upcoming weeks. It's nice to recharge your batteries and clear your mind of problems and worries. Half of your health depends on your mental health and your mental health is as strong as your stress management and ability to relax and rebalance your energy level. Nature can help a lot, you just have to realize that. Choosing the place to live can be influenced by many factors and sometimes you have limited options as you have to choose what you can afford, but having a place where you can relax nearby your home should be important too.

Thank you!

You have a very nice place for some fine forest bathing right there ;) Something as seemingly simple as a little walk in a park or forest can do wonders indeed... I love it too. Creative tree shots btw, look good :)

Indeed I'm lucky to have such a place nearby. And you're right forest bathing is a very needed cure, just many don't know it yet. Thank you for the nice comment my friend and for the tip as well! ☺️

It definitely is a therapy, my favorite actually. You are welcome :)

forest bathing What an awesome expression, love it❤

Right? :) I also loved the term when I first came across it. I was like "yeah, this is exactly what I have been doing and enjoying for most of my life and now I know what it´s officially called" :D :)

Whoever came up with the idea is a creative person :)

I also love nature and I think going to the heart of nature is one of the best sedatives. We are also in the nine days of spring, but the weather is a bit cold and the trees have just sprouted and the trees are not full of leaves yet. Losing loved ones and friends is a great sorrow and can be calmed by going to nature. Visit my post too.

Nature is amazing, I agree.

nice shot bro GODBLESS you and your family :)

Thanks, I wish you the same.

Very beautiful pictures. I also love to take photos where leafless tree branches meet the sky. There is a park where I take shelter from the suffocating city and it is very nice to lie on the grass and purify my mind with the sunlight filtering through the tree branches.

I'm glad to hear so many people find this for of relaxing useful and can enjoy it. The daily stress needs to be eliminated somehow, otherwise it can shorten our lives.

Amazing! Really beautiful pictures, and beautiful writing

Thank you.

It is an irony that people cut the trees only to realize they need them later for their well being. Nature is the greatest therapist, I totally agree with that, I have discovered this myself and since then I have a constant desire to balance myself in nature.

We live in a disturbed world and quite many don't even realize it. We do things backwards and invent things that have been existing for ages 😂

Very well said

Oh yes, this is quite obvious yet because of the marketing strategies somehow they manage to make the old look new.

Great pictures they remind me rather on our brain cell synapses than roads. Natural structures are just amazing patterns that return in big or small everywhere we look. Its only humans ignorance making everything straight.
Happy you have found your recovery place!

It's interesting that we see different things or better yet, think of different things when looking at the same object or things but that's the way human brain works I suppose.

Glad that you have found a place to relax, it's very important nowadays. I often wonder about trees and how they survive in the harsh winter and come to life in summer. Many people don't have time to admire nature now because people are busy. I remember, I saw a tree in Kharkiv which was 250 years old and I was like this tree have seen so much and still surviving. It was standing at the same place all the time with pride and have seen the reality of the world...

I used to go to the mountains every summer and used to sit on rocks, looking at trees and thinking that for these trees it doesn't matter if it's 3 am or 5 pm, or for them there's no Friday or Monday. every day is the same, there's no stress for them, there's no rush, they are just standing there all day every day. I used to think of these things because of the stress and rush in life. I was right in a way as they don't face the same challenges in life, but they have other challenges to face.

That 250years old tree must have been an interesting one for sure.

Beautifully shot and written blog post. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

I have a place nearby mine, a local reservoir area with large forestry surroundings. I go there often to walk and spend the day in, amongst the trees (i find myself sitting under them), bathing the sun, watch the people row their boats or walk their dogs, whilst I smoke my pipe-tobacco thinkin I'm Gandalf the Grey...when in fact I'm Jin, The Yellow (cuz i'm Chinese lol).

I may even do a blog post like you have showcasing the area i'm talkin about. Yeah.

Keep forest bathing my friend! May you grow some sprouts and sprout lots of flowers!

Then it means you're lucky as you have a place to escape to, which means a lot.

This is funny 😂

@erikah i just want to share with you a piece of card artistry with you. I noticed that you have been helping a lot of hivers who are struggling in the Ukraine situation and it warms my heart.

Since I live in a culture where everyone is known and described as good after death, it was weird for me to say that it was bad for someone who died.

As far as I can see from the pictures, spring arrived there with a delay too!

Well, the truth is the truth and death won't change it. Who was bad, was bad and some people are worse than bad.

By the way, what culture is that if I'm not too direct?

I can say that it is an act of respect for the deceased person. This is true both as a culture and as a belief!

Where I come from respect must be earned and some fail to do so.

Yes, respect should be earned by behavior. My personal opinion is parallel to yours.
