In Vancouver there is a Sky Train -rapid transit system- that is elevated above ground in some places hence the name Sky Train and underground for the majority of the time in other places.
It moves 141,000,000 people every year as it currently operates so it's pretty unbelievable and very reliable relative to options for public transport in other cities I've lived in, in Europe. The Broadway expansion project connects the movement of people east to west across Vancouver with connections to existing Sky Train stations and existing rapid bus lines so it will be a major success when complete.
Tonight the crane was idle at 630pm as it probably should be at that time of the evening. I love the lights, brightens up a dark wet day.
