Playing with light
After a few gloomy days in the beginning of this week we're having a quite nice and sunny day today. So I decided to go out for a walk. The sun is very low this time of the year which allowed me to play a little bit with the light.
First I came across this electricity house. Normally these are quite boring gray, but this one is painted by an artist. I really liked the way the sun highlights the already bright colors.
I like playing with the sun in my photos. I love creating lens flares and rays of sunlight in a photo. I also like the long shadows the low sun is producing.
The rays of sun that peak through the leaves make the light nice and diffuse. That results in nice and soft light which can make ordinary objects like this tree trunk look nice (at least, for me :D).
I don't know how I managed to create the following effect. I liked the light highlighting some of the leaves and when I was framing the shot suddenly this ring appeared in the lower left corner.
And here is the last shot I took with the nice long shadows....

[EDIT]
Thanks to a tip of @dimascastillo90 I've converted this last photo in black & white which makes it even look cooler. Thanks!
