Between Seasons 🌼 (15 pictures)

Hello everyone! 💛

Long time no see! It's been a while since my last in this community, but here I am, with new awesomeness offered by nature on this part of the planet!

I don't know what the weather looks like in other countries or continents, but in Romania, the winter proved us one more time how undecided she is coming with a lot of snow on 1st March which is actually the first day of spring.

Anyway, as no season can hold me and my family back from reconnecting with the wilderness of nature, we decided to take a short one-day trip to a very loved location by us where we also enjoyed some grilled meat. One of the posts I've seen on @bozz also contributed to wanting to do this as soon as possible because that meat looked soooo tasty! 😆

From here we drove a few more minutes away to a mountain resort where we found more serious snow and had some good hours of fun, sledging and fighting with snowballs. You are never too old to do it! ❤️

I also took advantage of this moment to play with my phone camera a bit and take some macro shots both in the forest and at home on some of my plants which are Ginseng Bonsai, Echeveria, and a carnivore flower called Dionaea.

Seems like nature doesn't really care about what plans the weather has as they follow their course no matter what. Nor you nor the winter can stay in the way of seeing those plants waking up and blooming again! 🌷

Overall it's been a great day full of tasty food, fun, and both cold and warm weather but which came to an end with lots of snow while on the previous day there were no signs of seeing the winter coming back so soon.

While in the previous years I kept complaining whether the winter comes too late or it lasts too long, in the meantime I learned to appreciate more everything as it is and as it happens because I'm blessed to live in a country that enjoys all 4 seasons instead of only 2 as it happens in other parts of the planet.

And if we consider even everything that is currently going on with Russia and Ukraine, I think we can all agree that there is no time to complain about something because life is so precious and short that it would be a real loss of time to spend it being grumpy on things that happen differently than they did a few years ago.

So wherever you are, make sure to smile, stay safe, and take care of yourself and your loved ones! ❤️

PS: Don't forget to share your thoughts down below as I can't wait to see what you think of those pictures and how the weather looks like on your end. 🙂

Lovely first day of Spring! Terrific landscape photos of snowfall and everything covered in white! Like you, I'll never be too old to enjoy a good snowball fight either.

Delicious grilled chicken you prepared on this day. Bet it tasted even more delicious in the frosty weather♨️🍖

I like your positivity and
upbeat outlook on life! 💓

Keep up the great work! @gabrielatravels
😊💛☀️

Upvoted and curated💯

Thank you! It's definitely not one of the most common things to see so much snow in the first day of spring but while we didn't enjoy too much the snow lately, we took advantage of it in spring, ha! 😃

As for the grilled meat, it was incredibly tasty!

My parents always say that the food tastes differently while it's being eaten outdoors, and I think they are right! 😃

And thanks. I'm not one of the most positive persons but I do work with myself daily to become more optimistic 🥰

Thank you again for your support. You are amazing! 🤗✨

Wow I really enjoyed viewing these pictures thanks for sharing your experience with us is lovely

And thank you for checking it out! It's always nice to meet new people in the comments section 😜

Me too nice meeting you

Dear friend, even if we are going to have fun together and in nature, even snow can not stop us. Every season has its fun. Here, in our country, Iran does not snow every winter. This year is the biggest winter full of flowers. God willing, they came to fruition.

I think this year's winter changed the plans in lots of places out there actually, but its beauty and elegance will always be powerful than any other season! ❄️

Let me complete your phrase more precisely

I don't know what the weather looks like in other countries or continents, but in Romania, the winter [freezes a freaking waterfall]

I loved the photo with the cars covered in snow. Perfect weather to go for a walk (no joke)

Haha. Fair enough!

As for the walk - yeah definitely. Unless there is not too powerful win outside which breaks the whole fun, lol

And not too icy as I don't want to break my leg. Again.

The walk doesn't seem so fun already! Lol

It doooooooes! Just not on windy day, icy, and not when it's way too cold. But other than that I'm up for some walking xDDD

💪🏻😅

So beautiful, i enjoyed thank you

Thanks!

Wow, the pictures was so nice. I really like it keep it up

Thank you!

Uhh a carnivore plant! I always wanted one of those. Is it high maintenance?

The war can put things into perspective. Living in the present and enjoying life as it is is truly the best thing we can do. There is a lot of turmoil happening and things haven't been easy. But I have learned that we can feel better when we look at the good things we have. This takes daily practice. I have days when it is tough and when I feel like I see no light at the end of the tunnel. There are days when I choose to focus on the positives. We must work on maintaining a good spirit.

No, it's really not hard to take care of a carnivore plant. The single thing you have to do is to give her water every 2-3 days as this kind of plants need their soil full of water.

There is also a more fun way to feed them with insects, lol. But it's not too easy to find these during the cold seasons so I'm only using water for now.

And yeah, totally. In the end we are the single ones who can control how we see things. Hopefully we'll remember of this period as a lesson one day and not see this madness getting on more countries.
