Wow, that was probably the quickest 1½ months of my life—the days just flew by! I was very busy throughout and got lots of things accomplished. New Zealand will always be my home somehow; there’s something that keeps pulling me back, and I’m sure it’ll happen again in the future.
At the moment, I’m back on the boat, already enjoying the sunny days with fresh shrimp for dinner and beautiful views of snowy mountains just beginning to be covered in snow. We’re slowly making our way down south. We have six weeks to cover 400 nautical miles, which is very reasonable. There’s no rush now, so we can take our time to enjoy these bays and maybe a hot spring soon too.
Back to New Zealand—I travelled a lot, actually. I visited my friend after a good break, which was a few hours away, but nothing feels like a lot of driving after Australia. 😂 It was great to see everyone again and catch up. It’s so nice seeing friends developing positively and all having a mindset similar to mine. I tend to distance myself from people who don’t focus on bettering themselves and truly pursuing their goals.
Anyway, that’s it for now. Canada posts are coming up next, so stay tuned for those!
Until next time,
Paul
