ENG: There is an old Polish proverb: 'April weaves, because it intertwines a bit of winter, a bit of summer.' This year it has become outdated. The new one goes: 'April weaves, because it intertwines a bit of spring, a bit of summer.' Apparently, it was 27 degrees Celsius in Krakow today. And indeed, it was noticeable. The Planty have turned green. The city is crowded with tourists. If someone had filmed and shown me this two years ago, I would have said it was definitely the 'long May weekend'. But it's not May. It's only April. It's hard to believe.
Below are 20 photos from today's walk. There would be more, but unexpectedly I met @mynewlife in the Planty, and we had a little meetup on a bench.
PL: W tym roku stare przysłowie się zdezaktualizowało. Nowe brzmi: Kwiecień plecień bo przeplata trochę wiosny, trochę lata. Ponoć w Krakowie było dziś 27 stopni. I faktycznie dało się to odczuć. Planty zazieleniły się. W mieście tłumy turystów. Gdyby ktoś nagrał film i pokazał mi go dwa lata temu, to powiedziałbym, że to na pewno długi weekend majowy. Ale to nie maj. To dopiero kwiecień. Aż trudno uwierzyć.
