This morning was a welcome rainy day. The sound of raindrops hitting the transformed into a soothing symphony, bringing life to every leaf. As I got up and went to the small garden, the cool, humid air brought a sense of calm to my mind. The environment around the house is something I am accustomed to, but walking, observing, and tending to the plants adds a bit of exercise to my routine.
So, while walking through the garden this morning, among the variety of plants, one particular tree stood out—my passion fruit tree. I remember planting this passion fruit tree about a year ago, patiently waiting for it to bear fruit. It was planted in fertile soil, but it didn't seem to embrace the seeds initially. It is another plant I have lovingly cared for. However, about a month ago, I noticed signs of new leaves and flower buds, signaling a promising turn in its growth.
So today, as I stood in front of this vine, I could see the first fruit of my labor—a ripe passion fruit hidden among the green leaves. I was filled with great joy. This moment taught me valuable lessons about dedication and patience, emphasizing that perseverance often yields rewarding results.
So I picked the ripe passion fruit and added it to my meal. Its aroma was tantalizing, making me eager to taste it. Let's meet on an Actifit day and share more such moments.
