"If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of more interesting stuff.”
– Jim Richardson
The day was already hectic for me as I moved out to make preparations. It is a Thursday and I was already ready to go to school, I had lectures by 10 and I was already ready to move. My phone was low, and thankfully power was restored, so I charged my phone while waiting for my phone to be fully charged, I decided to make some designs with my brother's laptop.
It was 9:30 on the dot and my phone was fully charged, so i had to meet up so i could beat the traffic. On reaching the road, i just felt like taking couple of photos of the street and the vehicles and people, the movements was really nice to be captured.
I met drivers and bikers, all moving about looking for passengers, I was actually going that way for my school so I walked down a bit to take more photos.
The passer by's really caught my attention as I was happy to take a pics of them, they actually turned but didn't know it was actually a picture. It was just two kids coming back from their errand, they looked happy.
We should always give kudos to drivers, though they are doing their work but always risking it all to make sure we move from places to places is so very kind of them. It's not easy to be driving and they see many cases as they move, many difficulties and so on. But they still try to go on for their daily Business. The passion they show towards their business, always ready to pick a passenger and even struggling for a passenger. They are very united as they have groups, I saw these bikers group taking a biker to a clinic, for first aid. The biker had an accident so they all moved in groups taking the biker to the nearest clinic. It was really nice of them as they show concern to what happens to people.
I called a bike and was ready to move to my destination, I asked if he will take me there and told him the amount I was with, because of how high fuel prices are, transportation prices increases day by day, so it's better for us to keep track of the transport fare to avoid argument with the driver at the destination point. I gave him the money and he was trying to give me back the change, so I took the shot.
He was really a nice man as he took me to my destination with joy and i thanked him as I alighted off the bike.
Different People with different vehicles, I actually captured them as I walked down hoping to have one of this as I am moving on with life. But one thing I saw is that they were all happy and smiling, I don't know if it's just a mask covering depression and sadness, but wearing such smile was all that was needed to keep going.
