Color grading is more than just the finishing touch - it's a powerful tool for controlling emotions and visually deepening stories. Colors influence our subconscious, guide perception and can change the entire look and feel of a scene.
A good example is our current project with a caveman scene: raw material vs. graded look - a huge difference! The color scheme determines whether the scene looks raw and documentary or cinematic and dramatic.
We grade many of our projects in-house, but bring in specialist freelance colorists depending on the style and requirements. This keeps our workflow flexible and allows us to develop specific looks that suit the story.

Color Grading ist mehr als nur der letzte Schliff – es ist ein kraftvolles Werkzeug, um Emotionen zu steuern und Geschichten visuell zu vertiefen. Farben beeinflussen unser Unterbewusstsein, lenken die Wahrnehmung und können den gesamten Look & Feel einer Szene verändern.
Ein gutes Beispiel ist unser aktuelles Projekt mit einer Höhlenmenschen-Szene: Rohmaterial vs. gegradeter Look – ein riesiger Unterschied! Die Farbwelt entscheidet, ob die Szene roh und dokumentarisch wirkt oder cineastisch und dramatisch.
Wir graden viele unserer Projekte in-house, holen aber je nach Stil und Anforderung spezialisierte Freelance Colorists dazu. So bleibt unser Workflow flexibel und wir können gezielt Looks entwickeln, die zur Story passen.
