The Philippines has all-year Summer weather (sucks 🥲), but as the ber-months rolled, the weather turned to cooler temperatures.
These are the times when locals or even tourists, have the chance to experience colder temperatures in the upper regions of the country. Last Bermonths, we had the chance to experience a chilly breeze and fog passing by mountains going to Baguio City, known for sweet strawberries and pine trees.
We could not resist taking pictures of the landscapes. It’s breathtaking!😍 Can you blame me? Nothing stopped me even though I felt uneasy while trying to distract myself from the cliffs. 😆
Here is a landscape I took just beside the road. I stand before a majestic mountain range with a background of the blue gradient sky.
It seemed like a painting brushed with watercolors. Ahh~ I can stare at it for hours. It reminds me how amazing nature can be. It’s a panoramic masterpiece.😩💓
As I panned to the other side of the road, I saw a cluster of trees in a shape of a mountain. It felt like nature has its way of sculpting landscapes. The backdrop is a blue sky and a cloud drifting away.
A curved road going up, I was guessing, the passengers were tourists too, taking advantage of the cold weather and the beautiful scenery.
Surrounded by lush trees and panoramic views it changes every twist and turn of the road. However, I got a bit dizzy because of it. It’s like a motion sickness, I guess.
It was a rare moment for me to see fog, perhaps once every three years, or depends when we had the time to go back to Baguio City.
Every time a fog rolled by, I tried to reach my hand and touch it, haha. Trying to catch a mist in my hand. 😆
This shot seemed like a white and black classic. The contrast between the for and the pine tree leaves created a dramatic filter. I like how it turned out like an ethereal ghostly vibe shot.
This shot gave a mysterious and eerie vibe. I took this photo about an hour before the sunset. Perhaps the timing gave that dramatic filter. The fog seemed to blend with the trees thus creating a fading, misty nothingness. I am scared to zoom in as my brain creates weird figures. 😳
The trees looked like veins running through a blanket of fog. The misty background was a great contrast to the trees. My brain started creating figures and shapes when I stared too long, haha. 🤪 My imagination was flying~
Looking down, I saw a snake-like road on its way to the mountains. Roads here will never be straight, which gave me the dizziness. 🤨 Inspite of the twists and turns of the road, the view was all worth it. It was an awesome trip on a perfect weather and great company. 🥰✨
