Hello #Hive photography lovers!... Welcome to a new post of my series of photographs taken by me in nature. As it has been happening recently, I have had the possibility to take long walks through the rural trails around my village, there the diversity of insect and plant species is tremendous, and this is something that happens every year with the coming of the rainy season!... So there I am to take some photos and share them with you here on #Hive!...

¡Hola amigos amantes de las fotografía en #Hive!... Bienvenidos a una nueva publicación de mis series de fotografías hechas por mi en la naturaleza. Tal como ha estado sucediendo recientemente, he tenido la posibilidad de hacer largas caminatas a través de senderos rurales alrededor de mi pueblo; allí la diversidad de especies de insectos y plantas es tremenda, y esto es algo que sucede cada año con el devenir de la temporada de lluvias... ¡Entonces ahí estoy yo para hacer algunas fotos y compartirlas con ustedes aquí en #Hive!...

NOTE: One of the so-called "robber flies" belong the family Asilidae, which are abundant in grasslands where they often hunt other insects using their sophisticated vision.
NOTA: Una de las llamadas "moscas ladronas" de la familia Asilidae muy abundantes en los pastizales en donde suelen cazar otros insectos usando su desarrollada visión.}

NOTE: A "tendril" growing on a branch of the same pumpkin plant whose flower appears in photo 02 of this publication... I love the spirals that these plant formations have!
NOTA: Un "zarcillo" creciendo en una rama la misma planta de calabazas cuya flor aparece en la foto 02 de esta publicación... ¡Amo los espirales que estas formaciones vegetales tienen!}

NOTE: A coleopteran of the family Curculionidae or commonly called "weevils". These in particular are very abundant in the marshes of the local forests and to me they look funnily like tennis balls... ;)
NOTA: Un coleóptero de la familia Curculionidae o común mente llamados "gorgojos". Estos en particular son muy abundantes en los marganes de los bosques locales y a mi me parecen divertidamente parecidos a pelotas de tenis... ;)}

NOTE: This is the petal surface on one of the huge inflorescences of a Musaceae family plant, which are basically "banana trees" and are abundant in the gallery forests near the village.
NOTA: Esta es la superficies de un pétalo de una de las enormes inflorescencias de una planta de la familia Musaceae, las cuales son básicamente "bananos" y abundan en los bosques de galería cercanos al pueblo.}

I took all these pictures using my small Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8d FX fixed lens combined with a Raynox DCR-150 close-up lens, my camera held handheld and only natural ambient light. These are close-ups and macros done in what you might call a rather "spartan way" but that's how I love to do this... I call it: "Almost craft photography in nature"... hehehe I'm always a bit exaggerated and at the same time romantic to define this! :))

Hice todas estas fotografías usando mi pequeño lente fijo Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8d FX combinado con una lentilla de acercamiento Raynox DCR-150, mi cámara sostenida a pulso y únicamente con luz natural de ambiente. Se trate de close-ups y macros hechos de manera podría decirse bastante "espartana" pero es así como amo hacer esto... Yo lo llamo: "Fotografía cuasi artesanal en la naturaleza"... hehehe ¡siempre soy un poco exagerado y a la vez romántico para definir esto! :))

NOTE: I think this mushroom is Amanita farinosa and it is poisonous, but I'm not an expert on this so I can't be sure. But, no matter, I won't eat it! :)) I just wanted to take this "unorthodox" picture where you can see those cute little dewdrops on the edges of the mushroom's cap...
NOTA: Creo que este hongo es de la especie Amanita farinosa y es venenoso, pero no soy un experto en esto así que no es seguro. Pero, no importa,¡no lo comeré! :)) solo lo quise para hacerle esta "poco ortodoxa" foto en donde se ven esas lindas gotitas de rocío en los bordes de la capucha del hongo...}

NOTE: A simple photo, taken after a short downpour, I passed under a fig tree and that drop of water seemed to be hanging there without wanting to fall...

NOTE: Sometimes, things that might go unnoticed, make me stop, observe and take a picture... This is the case of these "almost straight fractures" in the trunk of a dry tree.
NOTA: Algunas veces, cosas las cuales podrías pasar desapercibidas, me hacen detenerme, observar y hacer una fotografía... Este es el caso de estas "fracturas casi rectas" en el tronco de un árbol seco.}

NOTE: And last but not least, a macro on one of these strange dark-coloured caterpillars whose body seems to be semi-deflated due to their strange shapes and sinks. I don't know the specie's ID at all, but I've always found them fascinating, so I'm glad to have had this photo at my fingertips.
NOTA: Y por ultimo, pero no menos interesante, un macro de una de estas extrañas orugas de color obscuro cuyo cuerpo parece estar semi-desinflado debido a sus extrañas formas y hundimientos. Desconozco absolutamente su especie, pero siempre me han parecido fascinantes, así que me alegro de haber tenido esta foto a mi alcance.}

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad...
