I'm at the stage in my photography career where I need to step up my brand presence, value, and price to reduce the amount of work I've to deal with monthly. The amount of work I've done this year, I never expected it. Honestly, what I'm experiencing right now was what I prayed for at the beginning of the year. What I didn't consider was how overwhelming it can get. Fortunately, I have tangible time to rest this month, and I stole the opportunity to be here again, as I always do.
In my free time, I was able to visit photos I had created but hadn't edited. It's a lot honestly. Some even go as far as 2021. Crazy right? Yea, I know. In a way, I'm glad that I sometimes stall the editing of the photos that I create for myself. The reason is that I always tend to learn something new during the time I stall, and this makes for better output when I finally edit.
A few days ago, I sat down to edit some other photos of Peace that I created last year. I failed to edit this batch then because I was unable to find the right color grade for the photos until recently. With nothing to do, I opened the photos on Lightroom and began to edit.
I applied some of the new presets I had created and I found one that matched the photos a bit. I tweaked the HSL sliders a bit and I the jackpot; a colorful photograph also portraying rich melanin skin.
Words don't do justice to what I created, so it's best to show it to you at this point.
Shared these on Instagram two days ago and the comments were positive. I'd love to know what the community on Hive thinks of them. Let me know in the comments section.
