Join me today as we walk along a very #snowy PATH ALONG THE RIVER in search of a CROCODILE. ๐ Yes, you read that rightโฆ crocodiles in the #SNOW โ๏ธ
๐ Curiousโฆ come along, there is lots to see. I take you to the beautiful TOWN of SOLLEFTEร
in SWEDEN. ๐ธ๐ช
I visited this place when I was staying in the Airbnb I have been sharing here the last week ๐

As you can see it is a large riverโฆ.
Zooming out you see where in Sweden this town is located.
Before we start our walk we have to drive first to the town of Sollefteรฅ ๐ I take you along in the carโฆ as the views were stunning too ๐
Leaving the Airbnb we see the blue sky and the winter landscape around us. The fresh snow is so beautiful โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ This was last February so still very much #WINTER.
The roads we drive over are icy ๐ฅถ โ๏ธ
Some of the trees along the road are white too, very icy and covered with snow.
A t-junctionโฆ with directions. Left or right?
We drive past fields covered in snow. The hay bales wrapped in plastic. Makes for a pretty sight.

We see the sign for Sollefteรฅ 26 km to go ๐๐๐
The landscape is beautiful, we are already driving along the river we will walk along laterโฆ

A house on the hill, I like its colors. The red sticks on both road sides/ along the roadโฆ guiding you when the snow is too highโฆ where the road is.

Some nice cabins on the right, overlooking the valley.

We parked the car, letโs wrap up very warm as it is -12 degrees Celsius outside ๐งค๐งฃ (the car we brought back to Ireland in the last monthsโฆ bye bye car)
We went for a quick walk into the town to have some lunch ๐ฅ
It was lovelyโฆ.
We saw another Classic Car ๐
Heading back to the park next to the river. We look at the beautiful town ๐
The little side river of the large river is covered in ice and meters of snow. We look over the railingโฆ
Crossing the road we enter the larger parkโฆ looking right and left ๐
A few little statues, the snow is toooo deep to walk towards it, I tried hahaha ๐คฃ
The little river has more bridges going over ๐
We follow it through a beautiful park ๐ณ๐ฒ
We see the large river now. Where the bridge goes over it.
We tried to walk through the snow towards the larger path so we can reach the wide river, that was โa no goโ hahaha we need to find the path a bit further along ๐ so we have solid ground under our feet ๐ฆถ๐ปI did seeโฆ. Something though ๐
We see some ducks ๐ฆ sleepingโฆ we try not to disturb them and walk further around.
We walked a bit further and see the beautiful riverside ๐ some #reflections of the buildings in the water. A few brave ducks ๐ฆ โ๏ธ

Walking by the sleeping ducks again ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
Finally we made it onto the other path. Off the path the snow is very fluffy and deep.
There is a large tree, suddenly I see more ducks. Fully protected from the weatherโฆ the boulders do help. Do you see the ducks? Yes, I know it is hard to see with the sun and shadows ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ they are there ๐
A little bit further I stop ๐ what do I see now?

It has a cute face ๐
We head back to the car now after our walk as it is getting throughly cold ๐ฅถ the days are short and we still have to drive back over icy roads. We do this rather when it is still lightโฆ
Sollefteรฅ is a cute town, I will show you more from the town itself one day. So stay tunedโฆ.
If you are ever in the area. Do visit ๐ I really recommend it in any season.
