This is my participation in the #PobPhotoContest, and this weeks theme is landmarks. I can say that this photo includes 2 landmarks, the first one is obvious, Christ the Redeemer. The second one is the Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro, where these pictures were taken from.
Not much to say about Christ the Redeemer, it is a world famous landmark and voted one of the new 7 wonders of the world. The Botanical Garden is also landmark in Rio de Janeiro. It was founded in 1808, has species from all over the world, and sits right on the foot of the Corcovado Mountain (where Christ the Redeemer is).
I lived in Rio de Janeiro for most of my life and the Botanical Garden was always one of my favorite places to go for a walk with the kids. Definitely a must go if you are visiting Rio.
I don't live in Rio anymore, and these pictures were taken on my last visit in August/24.

Esta é a minha participação no #PobPhotoContest, e o tema desta semana é marcos históricos. Posso dizer que essa foto inclui dois marcos, o primeiro é óbvio, o Cristo Redentor. O segundo é o Jardim Botânico do Rio de Janeiro, de onde essas fotos foram tiradas.
Não há muito o que dizer sobre o Cristo Redentor, ele é um marco mundialmente famoso e foi eleito uma das novas 7 maravilhas do mundo. O Jardim Botânico também é um marco no Rio de Janeiro. Foi fundado em 1808, tem espécies de todo o mundo e fica bem no pé do Morro do Corcovado (onde está o Cristo Redentor).
Morei no Rio de Janeiro durante a maior parte da minha vida e o Jardim Botânico sempre foi um dos meus lugares favoritos para passear com as crianças. Definitivamente, é um passeio obrigatório se você estiver visitando o Rio.
Não moro mais no Rio, e essas fotos foram tiradas em minha última visita, em agosto/24.
