Hi everyone, for the #POBPhotocontest I would like to share with you a collection of photos, taken a few years ago on my roadtrip through Iceland, the land of fire and ice.
My entry photo for the #POBphotocontest
Two years ago, my family and I spent our summer holidays in refreshing Iceland. Packing warm clothes in the middle of a hot summer was a bit unusual, but also very exciting as we had been planning this trip for a long time. We had planned an 11-day trip to Iceland, and luckily we managed to successfully complete it.
Our plan was simple, to see as many things as possible in the time available. To achieve our simple plan, we rented a car and drove all the way across Iceland, along a route called The Ring Road.
The drive offered us breathtaking views of this beautiful landscape, which changed from hour to hour as we drove from high glaciers to snow-capped peaks, from green valleys to rocky, moss-covered deserts. Truly magnificent scenery that I will never forget.
