Hi everyone, for the #POBPhotocontest, I would like to share with you some photos from two years ago, when I had the chance to visit Dubai. Beside the splendours and all attractions available in Dubai city, I couldn’t miss the visit to the desert.

The vast stretch of golden sand dunes that surrounds Dubai city is part of the Arabian Desert. It offers dramatic landscapes that attract visitors from all over the world and is also the right place for all photography lovers.
The immensity, the tranquillity, and the silence of the dessert contrast with the bustling city life. In the dunes, you can experience different activities like traditional camel rides, discovery of the Bedouin history, visit or stay at luxury desert safari complexes, or go for a popular dune bashing.
And this is exactly what I did... It is a thrilling adventure where off-road vehicles navigate the steep slopes and sharp curves of sand dunes. A pure adrenaline-pumping experience. The exciting experience of the shifting sands, combined with the speed and skills of the driver, was completed with dramatic landscapes and stunning scenery.
When we stopped for a break in the desert, I was blessed to assist in the interplay of sand, wind, and sun that were creating breathtaking natural masterpieces. The evershifting dunes were forming intricate patterns. The hot sun created dramatic shadows and golden hues across the landscape.
We had a quite long break, and I was able to observe how the wind shaped the sand into delicate ridges and changed the art work almost every few seconds. I'm really happy that I was able to capture those unique monuments and that I’m able to share those photos with you.
