La lluvia caía fuerte en la ventana mientras yo estaba encerrada en mi casa. No tenía ganas de salir ni de hacer nada, solo quería estar en mi cama todo el día. Pero sabía que no podía dejar que mi ánimo se hundiera. Decidí jugar videojuegos para distraerme un poco.
The rain was coming down hard at the window while I was locked in my house. I didn't feel like going out or doing anything, I just wanted to stay in bed all day. But I knew I couldn't let my spirits sink. I decided to play video games to distract myself a bit.

Las horas pasaban y me sentía aún más aburrida. Había jugado todos mis videojuegos favoritos, pero ninguno me emocionaba tanto como la primera vez que los jugué.
The hours passed and I felt even more bored. I had played all my favourite video games, but none of them excited me as much as the first time I played them.
Intenté buscar nuevos juegos en línea, pero nada me llamaba la atención. Me sentía atrapada en mi aburrimiento.
I tried searching for new games online, but nothing held my attention. I felt trapped in my boredom.

De repente, recibí un mensaje de mi amigo. Me dijo que estaba cerca de mi casa y quería visitarme. Estaba emocionada de verlo, pero al mismo tiempo me daba pena que me encontrara en mi estado de ánimo.
Suddenly, I received a message from my friend. He told me that he was near my house and wanted to visit me. I was excited to see him, but at the same time I felt sorry that I was in my state of mind.

Mi amigo entró por la puerta con un paraguas y un camino recorrido por las calles mojadas por la lluvia. Pensé que solo vendría a charlar y tomar una taza de café, pero trajo consigo una cámara y un trípode. Me sorprendió con una sesión de fotos espontánea.
My friend came through the door with an umbrella and a path through the rain-soaked streets. I thought he was just coming to chat and have a cup of coffee, but he brought a camera and a tripod with him. He surprised me with a spontaneous photo session.
Al principio me sentí incómoda y vergonzosa frente a la cámara, pero luego me di cuenta de que estaba disfrutando el momento. Mi amigo me hacía reír y sentirme como una modelo profesional.
At first I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of the camera, but then I realised that I was enjoying the moment. My friend made me laugh and feel like a professional model.
La sesión de fotos mejoró mi estado de ánimo completamente. Mis pensamientos negativos se desvanecieron y me sentí revitalizada. Había pasado de sentirme aburrida y atrapada en mi propia casa, a reírme y disfrutar de mi tiempo con mi amigo.
The photo session improved my mood completely. My negative thoughts vanished and I felt revitalised. I had gone from feeling bored and trapped in my own house, to laughing and enjoying my time with my friend.
Esta experiencia me hizo reflexionar sobre la importancia de tener amigos que te apoyen y te sacudan de tu rutina. Mi amigo entendió mis sentimientos y vino a mi rescate. No solo me hizo compañía, sino que también me alegró el día.
This experience made me reflect on the importance of having friends who support you and shake you out of your routine. My friend understood my feelings and came to my rescue. He not only kept me company, but also made my day.
Un buen amigo es alguien que está ahí para ti en los buenos y en los malos momentos. Es alguien que te conoce y te entiende, y siempre tiene una forma de sacarte de tu zona de confort.
A good friend is someone who is there for you in good times and bad. It's someone who knows and understands you, and always has a way of getting you out of your comfort zone.
En conclusión, aprender a disfrutar el momento y la compañía de un buen amigo puede cambiar completamente tu día. Agradezco a mi amigo por su visita sorpresa y por alegrarme el día más oscuro.
