Coccinella transversalis and Caterpillars

Hello friends who love photography, how are you today and hopefully we are all still in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.

Saturday, February 22 2025, on this happy occasion I want to show again some interesting images from the photography results that I have obtained. There are two image moments from photography that I want to show with all my friends, namely the first is a beetle which is quite beautiful.

The beetle that I found is called Coccinella transversalis. It has a pretty good color display and is also quite small in size and good for us to do macro photography on this animal. There are also many types of insects shaped like this and usually only differ slightly in color appearance.

In the area where I live, it is easy to find insects like this because here there is a lot of land where wild plants grow, so in these wild plants we can find animals like this. If we like looking for macro image moments, it's certainly very easy because we just have to enter a small forest and then we're ready to peek at insects like this so we can do macro photography on this device.

We also have to have techniques for taking pictures of small insects like this. We need to be patient and approach it slowly so that the insect doesn't move away and still run away from us. If we don't approach it slowly, of course it will move away and run away from us so we won't be able to take a picture.

Apart from playing on wild plants, these animals also often play on plants cultivated by farming communities, and if insects like this play on plants provided by farmers, they are considered pests because they can damage parts of the plant. Usually I can find this animal in the eggplant plants provided by farming communities and it likes to disturb the leaves of the plant so that the leaves become hollow. Usually farmers use pesticides to eradicate these animals and spray them on parts of the plant.

Then I also had time to take several pictures of caterpillars on the leaves of wild plants. The sugar also has a very interesting shape and at that time I liked the appearance of this caterpillar so I also took several pictures of it. OK, friends, let's look at the pictures that I have shown below.

OK friends, those are some of the pictures that I can show you today and hopefully these pictures can make all of these friends beautiful pictures for us all. Thank you to all my friends who have given me encouragement and opportunities and see you again later in my next post.

Note, the words I wrote in this article are in Indonesian, and I first wrote them in the smartphone notes application section. Then to translate into English I used Google's help.
