Yesterday when I went out with my camera, I saw a Blue-throated barbet on a papaya tree. It was my neighbor's tree. This tree had many papaya fruits on it which the bird had come to eat. It is a beautiful bird and the color is similar to papaya fruit and the red part in front of the head looks very gorgeous. I was surprised to see the bird and I quickly went to the bird. The papaya tree was very tall, I think it was about 15 feet. I kept taking photos using my zoom lens and the bird was eating the papaya without any problem. The owner of the papaya tree does not want the birds to eat their fruits. I also did not inform the owner of the tree. When the bird finished eating and left, I told the owner of the tree about this news. Then he did not say anything to me and listened to me quietly. Probably he was angry with me. Now let's enjoy the photos.
The Blue-throated barbet bird lives in South Asia such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc. Since I live in South Asia, our habitat is the same. The color of the bird helps it to hide in nature, if you notice, you will see that the color of the papaya fruit and the color of the bird are almost the same. The bird is green, the plants are also green, so it is very difficult to distinguish it from the leaves of the trees. The forehead of the bird is red, which makes it look more beautiful. Both the male and female of this bird build nests, lay eggs there and the birds incubate the eggs by heating them. The bird calls very loudly. But most of the time it is silent. Their main food is fruit, perhaps the papaya fruit is their favorite. I say this because the color of the papaya fruit and the color of the bird are the same.
