Yesterday I observed two bird phenomena which were very interesting. I went to the river bank yesterday morning around 9 am to take some bird photos. The morning sun is very sweet and the river bank is a great place to refresh the mind. Apart from that, some species of birds can be seen there. As soon as I reached the river bank, the swans caught my eye. The swans were floating in the water. When I took the first photo of this post, right after that I saw a female swan next to it. This swan went next to the female swan and got on its back. It didn't take me long to realize that they were actually breeding. Swans can have physical intercourse while swimming on the water. It's amazing.
Phenomena One
Here the male swan was swimming, with the female swan next to him. I took a photo of it alone. I didn't think anything was going to happen then
The male swan came next to the female swan, took a photo of them together, still not knowing that something was going to happen.
A few moments later the male climbed onto the female swan's back. The female swan was more than halfway underwater, and I realized that their physical relationship had begun.
After that the female swan completely submerged, the male bit her head. So only the male is visible
The female swan's head rose out of the water
Another swan came in as an attack, probably it did not like their physical relationship.
The sweet time was lost, so the male swan was expressing grief by raising his head upwards, the female swan was running away and the attacker was keeping his neck parallel to the female
The male was now alone, his beloved was now far away
Phenomena Two
It is winter now, at this time people collect the sap by squeezing the bark of the date palm. In the afternoon, the pot is placed on the date palm tree, and the sap drips all night and accumulates in the pot. In the morning, people climb the tree and bring the pure sap down from the pot. This sap is very sweet and date molasses is made from it. I was passing under the tree. I saw that the pot had not yet been taken down from the tree. A bulbul bird was sitting on the pot and stealing the sap. I took some photos. Birds eat the sweet sap of the date palm tree like this, but sap is not in their diet, now it seems that their diet needs to be updated.
