A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit one of the historical sites that are around me, it is the Contaduría in San Blas Nayarit, which is an incredible site with a sea view that really makes you feel like staying in the place taking pictures forever, I don't want to go into details about the site and its history, I better leave you the link where you can learn more about its construction more than 200 years ago, link.
The truth is that it is a shame to have arrived late to the place, as it is also a shame to see that the site is abandoned due to the pandemic, a lot of the decoration that I had seen in other photographs is no longer there, and inside the buildings I could see a lot of garbage accumulated, which is partly the responsibility of the administrators of the place, but also of the people who visit the site and are not polite enough to take their garbage with them.
As I said, the view is amazing, and it had to be like this to protect the port of San Blas, in the following pictures we can see boats in the distance, and a panoramic picture so you can see the distance to the beach.
There is a place I really want to go, it is the Faro de San Blas, and from the place where I was it was quite easy to take the following picture, I think the sunset was not enough to get what I expected in this picture, maybe the next time that I go I should go during the day even if the sunlight is not in my favor, but maybe it will be the opposite.
The cannons are still in place, pointing to the coast and I believe they could still be used to defend the port.
I really liked the natural framing that was created in this photo and will probably post it on my Instagram profile.
And well that would be all, I hope that the next time that I visit this place I will do it with more time and in a better schedule to get the full potential of the place, anyway, sharing with you these images is part of my current work, although as I said at the beginning I don't want to get so much into the history because I would surely have to take portions of texts that don't belong to me, and actually what I want is that you know the place through the photographs.
