The story behind these photos ended up with the police. Dad and I traveled to a small town to visit an old abandoned mine, but the place was closed. After wandering in the bushes we finally found a way in. The place was rotting away. Machines, elevators, buildings; all looked decrepit. I climbed on this old drill to snoop around. Our objective was to enter the tunnels. Well... that's when the guard found us. After debating they only asked for our IDs and left us alone.
I used and old point and shoot camera for these photos and edited as B&W. Nothing better than b&w to register good ole machinery. This place really reserved some well-though photos using a proper DSLR, though I'm not sure I want to risk entering there again.
