Here is another unshared photo from my recent trip! It was only six weeks ago, but it feels like ages! After my visit in Croatia Split for Hivefest, I decided to explore further down the Balkan region, so I chose to go to Albania for a few days. I took a bus from Split to Tirana, and it turned out to be a nightmare—a 17-hour journey, which is way too long considering it was only 550 km. I definitely underestimated the whole trip.
Speaking of Albania, when I arrived in Tirana, I had the opportunity to rent a car very smoothly. And by smoothly, I mean shockingly easy—no ID, no driver’s license required, and the website I used didn’t ask for any real details. Amazingly, there was also no deposit! Given that they handed over a decent $20,000 car, I certainly couldn’t complain.
Here are some photos from a day trip to Krujë, a beautiful Albanian city surrounded by mountains with a picturesque castle at the top. The journey there was rather bumpy and took around 1.5 hours from Tirana, but somehow, I managed to get there, and it was well worth the adventure. I enjoyed exploring the town and taking a relaxing break.
Here are a few images I took on my phone. As usual, I edited them using Lightroom and some of my presets. As always, it’s easier to share photos than write a long post!
