Suelo ir algunos fines de semana, porque me encanta pasar al menos algún ratito cerca del mar. Y tengo un buen amigo que vive en Portugalete, eso es cruzando el Puente de Vizcaya desde Getxo, Las Arenas, que es a donde suelo ir algunos sábados, así que también aprovecho para encontrarme con él, tomar algo y actualizarnos sobre lo que ha pasado en nuestras vidas en los días de semana.
I usually go some weekends, because I love to spend at least a little while near the sea. And I have a good friend who lives in Portugalete, that is across the Vizcaya Bridge from Getxo, Las Arenas, which is where I usually go on some Saturdays, so I also take the opportunity to meet him, have a drink and update ourselves on what has happened in our lives on weekdays.

Primero tomé algunas fotos desde el interior del trasbordador. Me encantan estas vistas, donde se ven los coloridos edificios de ambas márgenes de la Ría, los poblados de Las Arenas y Portugalete. Me enamoré de cómo se ven las gotas de lluvia en los cristales del trasbordador, así que tomé varias fotos de ellas en la ida y la vuelta de mi pequeño viaje.
First I took some photos from inside the shuttle. I love these views, where you can see the colorful buildings on both banks of the Ría, the towns of Las Arenas and Portugalete. I fell in love with how raindrops look on the glass of the shuttle, so I took several photos of them on the way to and from my little trip.

Parece que los poblados de Las Arenas y Portugalete son dos hermanitos que se agarran de la mano a través del puente, Las Arenas es la hermana seria, sobria, recatada, Portugalete es el hermano fiestero, alegre, que se viste de colores extravagantes.
It seems that the towns of Las Arenas and Portugalete are two little siblings holding hands across the bridge, Las Arenas is the serious, sober, demure sister, Portugalete is the partying, cheerful brother who dresses in extravagant colors.
Pero ese día encontré a Portugalete más colorido de lo que nunca antes lo había visto. Esta sensación fue amplificada por los rayos de sol que aparecieron entre los árboles justo en ese momento.
But that day I found Portugalete more colorful than I had ever seen it before. This feeling was amplified by the sunbeams that appeared between the trees just at that moment.

En esta foto se puede ver lo bonita y cuidada que está la Plaza del Solar, que está en frente del Ayuntamiento. El sol hizo brillar el rayado de colores del suelo y las hojas amarillas y verdes de los árboles 🍂🍃

Cuando giré a mi izquierda había un cuadro con el cielo más gris, pero los colores de Portugalete seguían brillando. Caían otra vez algunas gotas y pasó este chico con capucha andando sobre el suelo mojado. Yo me quedé mirando el panorama, al cubierto mientras esperaba a mi amigo.
When I turned to my left there was a painting with a grayer sky, but the colors of Portugalete continued to shine. A few drops were falling again and this boy with a hood walked by on the wet ground. I stayed looking at the panorama, under cover while I waited for my friend.
Y de regreso quise seguir experimentando con las fotos de las nubes y las gotas de lluvia 🌧
And on the way back I wanted to continue experimenting with the photos of the clouds and the raindrops 🌧
